The Cost of CHANGE

"I believe if we know the cost of change then we can pay the price of change" segun olaniyan

Change is the inevitable law of nature and the only thing that is constant is change. There is a dear need for change in our society. The transformation of any soceity hinges on the "change" she embraced. There is a need to change from poverty to prosperity, from bondage to freedom, from mediocrity to excellence and from corruption ridden society to a prosperious  society built on the foundation of good governance, transparency and accountablity.
However you don't have to be a governor, a senator or a minister to effect a change. You can be the change you want to see. It does not matter what changes, nothing change until we change. The change we desire lie within us not without us. Henry David Thoreau said "Things do not change, we change". Hilary Edmond the first man to conquer mount everest said "It is not the mountain we conquer, it is our self". Plato put it more succinctly;  he said" The first and best victory is to conquer self". I therefore believe we become on the outside what we believe in the inside.
True and lasting change most be demanded by Nigerian. Barack Obama in his statement said "Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time; we are the ones we've being waiting for. We are the change we seek" It is the same Barack Obama that said " Change happens because the American people demand it, because they rise up and insist on new ideas and leadership, a new politic for a new time" Martin Luther King Jr said "Change does not roll on the wheels of inevitabilty, but come through continuous struggle. So we must straight our backs and work for our freedom. A man can not rid you unless your back is bent". I believe this truely is the season of change. Key into the change mantra, believe in change and be the change you want to see. If we know the cost of change then we can pay the price of change. Welcome to your season of true and lasting change.
