National Development

The development of any nation hinges on the moral virtue of the collective individuals of the nation. We must  learn to do the right thing. Barack Obama said "If you were successful, somebody along the line gave some help...Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrieve. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you've got business- You didn't build that somebody made that happen." Therefore the society can not change unless the individuals members  change their mentality of collecting but rather start thinking of  giving back to the society and contributing to the development of  the country. If things work in United State of Ameriaca, it is because they unite to make things work. The principle of success that the American people used to built a strong nation can be use any where in the world to achieve the same order of result. Methods may change but principles remain the same . A strong and developed nation is built on Godly principles such as transperancy accountability, justice and good governance and theses principles are universal. A lizard in Nigeria will not become alligator in America, it is not about location but about the people, how they think and their belief system. You cannot change a society that believe that government should do everything without first changing their belief system. Some even believe that goverment should do every thing for them including paying their taxes. That kind of mentality retards national development. Government will not think for you and will not plan your life for you. I believe that taking up responsibility for  onces life is the bedrock of national and personal development. Casting blame and aspersion is the language of the mediocres. Let us wake up  and take responsibility for our lifes and nation. The former president of America said "Think not what America will do for you, but think of what you will do for America."
